Beyond Pets is an independent locally-owned pet shop based in Toowoomba, created with the goal to bring a new age of quality, care, and confidence to pet keeping.
As an all-in-one pet destination, we go beyond the basics—combining premium products with genuinely knowledgeable, highly experienced staff who are passionate about helping pets thrive.

Figuring out who we are
Over several years, and with the help of a few close friends who didn’t fully know what I was scheming at the time, we travelled up and down the east coast visiting some of the very best pet shops and aquariums Australia has to offer.
Each stop was intentional. We weren’t just looking at stores—we were learning. We took note of what inspired us, what felt missing, and what truly made certain businesses stand out. Every conversation, every layout, every detail helped shape our understanding of what great pet care and retail could look like.
That journey became the foundation of Beyond Pets. It helped us define not only what we wanted to achieve, but who we wanted to be. Our store identity is built on those experiences, with a clear focus on quality, care, and creating something genuinely better for pets and the people who love them.
